Present day.. (50 years later) "Alright kiddos, guess what day it is!" The kids patted their desks. "Today, 50 years ago, this very school made a time capsule of what they thought would change in the world. After lunch, we will have an assembly and pass out the papers. Okay?" The kids clapped their hands in excitement. During the assembly.. The kids were lined up in grade order infront of where the capsule was buried. "Alright students, are you ready for the big reveal?" The crowd cheered. The staff lifted the lid of the capsule and took it out of the ground. The staff held up the capsule so everyone could see. About an hour later.. "Students, please line up for your papers." The children lined up in grade order and were given a paper. "Nice! A rocket ship!" One kid said. "I got a picture of a flying car!" Another shouted. Then, Jordan was next in line for his paper. He walked out of line and looked at his paper. "Numbers? The future isn't numbers.." Jordan handed the paper to his dad. "This isn't a picture..I'm confused." His dad took the paper and examined it. "Huh." Jordan took the paper back and put it in his backpack. He headed back to class, and finished off the day. After school.. "Jordan, I don't think you were suppost to bring the paper home." Jordan looked up from his homework. "I brought it by accident. I'll bring it back tomorrow." Jordan's dad nodded. After Jordan went to bed, he took the paper from his backpack. "What is this thing.." He took a whiteboard and copied the numbers down. "Wait..this group of numbers..they're dates?" He got on his computer and searched up the group of numbers he noticed. "An airplane crash.." He circled the numbers he searched. "These numbers are apart of a calendar, too.." He searched the date again. "Volcano eruption.." He circled the date. He continued to search and circle until he realized.. The numbers on the paper were future disasters. To be continued..
