**all credits go to the original author** I was a lonely kid. I never had any friends. I played video games, watched anime, and dressed up as Naruto for Halloween one time. I was a total weeb. One day, I got a text from one of my "friends". He told me to meet him and his gang at the old run-down hotel on 46th street. It was really important to him that I do this, so I went. I quickly rode my bike there, and they were waiting in the bushes. I asked them what all the commotion was about, and he said, "I found out a legend about this place! It's totally haunted, and a kid went missing once! If you want to make some real friends, I dare you to run up to the 57th floor and shine your flashlight through the window." I wasn't really scared, because ive watched so many horror movies, so I accepted his bet. I just happened to bring my flashlight with me, so I started my journey up to the 57th floor. I ran up the first couple flights of stairs with ease, but when I hit the 12th floor, I took a break until I was ready again. Zoom into the future by about an hour, and I was on the 56th floor. Almost there. I quickly ran up the first set of stairs, and I was looking for the bronze plate that would mean my victory with the golden number, 57. I was running up the set of stairs, and when I came to the bronze plate, it said 56. Again?? "Oh well, I must have read the last number wrong." There was no window on this floor. I kept running when I came to another bronze plate. It said 56. Still no windows. I kept running, hoping to see the golden victory number, but it never came. They say insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, and expecting different results. Thats not true. Insanity is doing the same thing again and again, knowing it will never change. Insanity is when the screams slowly turn into cries, and the cries slowly turn into laughter...
