There once was a theif who one night, broke into one of his neighbours's attic. While trying to find something valuable to swipe, he came across something that he wasn't expecting. It was a portrait of a young woman. She was sitting behind a table with three photos on it. And the photos were of men with odd expressions on their faces. But the theif was more fixated on the woman. Who he found breath taking. Especially by the fact that she was smiling. But realizing that he could get caught at any moment and also that the portrait could be valuable, he took it and went on his way.

The theif put the portrait in his living room and set about trying to find a buyer for it. But it was more difficult than he imagined. Seeing that he had stolen it in the first place. But what was more strange is that every time he looked at it, the woman's face would change. She very slowly stopped smiling and began to look angry. Then, after five months, she looked so angry that the theif had lost all hope in selling it. Finally he could no longer stand it and decided to place it in his spare room. But as he was carrying it up the stairs, he slipped on some loose carpeting and fell heavily down them. Finishing up dying at the bottom due to a broken neck.

When the police came by four weeks later, they found a dead body lying next to a portrait of a smiling young woman. She was sitting behind a table with four photos of men with odd expressions on their faces...
